Stans' Bio

I am the son of a preacher man and grew up observing my parents in ministry from the time I was a little boy to my present age.  Met my wife at age 18 and promptly asked her to marry me. Two years later we married and recorded our first album on the Praise label. We tried hard to make music our career, but we couldn't support ourselves with it and so I went into business to make some extra money.

The music got put on the shelf, however, I kept writing songs through the years.  (You may notice  the different years of the songs on the last three albums.)  I went to the Philippines in 1995 and had an interesting experience with a witch doctor. (see Hallelujah In The Heavens for story details).  I came home a changed man.  As a result I began an aggressive move out of business back into music. To my wife and I, the timing could not have been more perfect. We know beyond the shadow of a doubt that we are doing what we are supposed to be doing. There are no financial rewards for what we see happening, however, there is an over supply of rewards in seeing men and women recommit and give their hearts to Christ.

Sure is a lot of satisfaction in that.

About Aron
Without a doubt, we are doing the very thing that gives us the most joy and that is to be involved in music ministry.  Both Frances and I were raised in homes where music was encouraged and so it was a natural progression to come through childhood and adolescent experiences to this.

Frances had formal training in music but when she was in high school her interests and achievements were more in audio/visual. My desires were a little more hands-on music-making.  I grew up with three older brothers and one sister and thus the possibility of forming a quartet with four guys.  We did just that until in those special days of pubescence my voice crashed every time I needed to sing way up there.  So I just played guitar...  oh well?!

Many years latter Frances was introduced to me by a mutual friend who thought we might have some similar interests. Frances started sound engineering some of the gigs that I had and that of course was just the beginning that led to more than just making music.  And that's it!  We married and we're still in this really great relationship doing lots of music, raising our kids, and trying hard to follow God and His desires for us.

What a delight!
